The DAP-1353 Wireless N Access Point connects to an Ethernet network to provide wireless connectivity for computers and other network equipment at home or in the office.Wireless N technology offers more speed, extended coverage and virtually no dead spots while still compatible with previous network standards. This Access Point transfers data at speeds of up to 300 Mbps. This Access Point can be configured to operate in any of the following 5 modes: wireless Access Point (AP); Wireless Distribution System (WDS) bridge, with one or more peer APs, to easily create dedicated building-to-building links; WDS with AP, to allow wireless clients on the WDS link; wireless client, to give wireless N connectivity to any Ethernet-enabled device, such as a printer or a gaming console; wireless repeater.User authentication can be enforced by using the AP in conjunction with a RADIUS server. Other features include support for multiple SSIDs and strong security with Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), MAC address filtering and the ability to limit the number of wireless clients.Product Description | D-Link Rangebooster N 650 Access Point DAP-1353 - radio access point | Device Type | Radio access point | Enclosure Type | External | Dimensions (WxDxH) | 19.8 cm x 12 cm x 3.2 cm | Weight | 325 g | Data Link Protocol | IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11n (draft) | Remote Management Protocol | SNMP, Telnet, HTTP | Features | VLAN support, repeating mode, MAC address filtering, Wireless Distribution System (WDS) support, Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) support |
