Odyssey Client is a triple-purpose 802.1X access client. It lets you establish a secure connection to an enterprise wireless or wired 802.1X network, and to easily connect to a public WLAN at a hotspot. Based on the IEEE security standard 802.1X, Odyssey Client supports a wide variety of EAP authentication methods, including EAP-TTLS, PEAP, and EAP-TLS, ensuring strong security over the wireless link. Together with an 802.1X-compatible RADIUS server such as Funk Software's Odyssey Server or Steel-Belted Radius, Odyssey Client secures the authentication and connection of WLAN users, ensuring that only authorized users can connect, that login credentials will not be compromised, and that data privacy will be maintained. In addition to its strong security, Odyssey Client is easily deployed enterprise-wide. Its combination of auto-configuration tools, client update and lockdown capabilities, and unsurpassed multi-platform, multi-vendor compatibility allow you to streamline large-scale deployments, and mandate enterprise-level security.
