IMC Networks offers MediaConverter Port Interface Modules (McPIMs) for MediaConverter/x & /y Chassis. McPIMs are modular and utilize a hot-swappable architecture for rapid replacement of media and mode conversion. Media conversion modules are available in a wide variety of configurations to solve different problems for different users. Features include user-selectable LinkLoss and FiberAlert to notify network managers of silent failures. Each twisted pair and fiber optic port features a Link LED, with each twisted pair port supporting either shielded or unshielded twisted pair cabling, as well as both MDI or MDI-X connections.
