All HX models feature a Hybrid Pearl Olefin (HPO) woofer cone incorporating a vibration control ingredient designed for the improved reproduction of deep, solid bass. The titanium dioxide film coating, which gives the cone its distinctive pearl-like appearance, improves mid-to-high frequency response.
