A 3Com Megahertz 10/100 LAN+56K Global Modem CardBus PC Card, model 3CXFEM656C, gives you fast, reliable, LAN and modem access with any notebook with a 32-bit CardBus slot running Windows 95 OSR-2, 98, 2000, or Windows NT 4.0. One connector gives you LAN and modem access - automatically. Plus this PC Card delivers GSM access and is easily upgradeable for ISDN connections. Autosensing XJACK connector gives you durable connections without carrying or losing extra dongles or cables - all with one Type II PC Card. Simply extend Autosensing XJACK connector and insert any standard RJ-11 phone cord or RJ-45 10 Mbps Ethernet or 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet network cable. Connect with your modem and it lights orange. Connect to your LAN and it lights yellow for 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet connections and green for 10 Mbps Ethernet connections. Then, when you're on the go, it retracts safely back inside your PC Card. And it's made from strong, heat-resistant Lexan to stand up to the most hectic mobile schedule. LAN, Modem, GSM, and ISDN with One PC Card Connect to your LAN or the Internet, via Ethernet, through your modem, with a GSM handset, and over ISDN - all with one Type II PC Card. GSM connection manager software automatically sends data calls to your modem or select GSM handset without reconfiguring your software.
