The 3Com Wireless 7760 11a/b/g PoE Access Point offers a cost effective solution for high-speed dual band wireless connectivity. Dual radios operate in IEEE 802.11b/g or 11a modes, expanding connectivity support and bandwidth availability. The 3Com Wireless 7760 11a/b/g PoE Access Point can be powered by a 3Com Power over Ethernet (PoE) Switch or mid-span PoE injector eliminating the need for an AC power plus on each access point. Providing speeds of up to 108 Mbps, this access point supports up to 64 wireless users per radio (128 total). Wi-Fi certified IEEE 802.11a/b/g ensures interoperability with Wi-Fi certified products. Wireless Distribution System (WDS) solves complex wireless connectivity problems, supporting point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, repeater and client modes. Sophisticated security features support the latest encryption and virtual LANs (VLANs) for secure remote communication including Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 (WPA2), Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP) and Wi-Fi Equivalent Privacy (WEP) packet encryption.
