3Com 11 Mbps Wireless LAN Outdoor Bridge Solution combines state of the art Wireless bridging technology, WI-FI interoperability enclosed in a high gain panel antenna, ensuring ease of use and installation as well as maximum performance to attach remote networks to the core enterprise network. Data is transmitted using standard and secure WLAN technology, saving the cost of an added T1 line or DSL. Quickly and affordably, you can connect the wired networks in two buildings or across an entire campus without laying a single cable between buildings. The 3Com Wireless LAN Building-to-Building Bridge can be used in two types of network topology. Point-to-Point is the simplest way, offering the highest performance. Two 3Com bridges using sector-panel directional antennas form a direct wireless association between the wired LANs in two buildings located up to 15 miles apart. Point-to-Multipoint allows communication between more than two buildings.
