The service helps ensure Internet access is used for business-related activities, and provides protection from legal and social liabilities related to unacceptable web content. The web-based subscription service requires little setup and administration. Simply check the boxes in the categories you want restricted and activate the service. The web site filter database is located on an externally hosted server, accessed in real time by the 3Com OfficeConnect VPN Firewall. The hosted service eliminates the need to download the database and continually make room for the ever-growing list of unacceptable URLs.
