The AP1700 dual-Xeon server can be either a standalone server or easily converted to a 5U rack mount server depending on user applications, providing excellent flexibility for today's dynamic businesses. Based on dual-Xeon processors providing over 2.4GHz+ and large memory capacity up to 12GB, the AP1700 ensures top performance for memory-intensive tasks. The ASUS AP1700 is also an ideal investment for the future with powerful expansion capability through five 64-bit PCI-X slots, one 32-bit, 33MHz PCI slot and 500W+500W redundant power supplies. The AP1700 supports six hot-swap SCSI hard disk bays, allowing larger-size storage capability. Combined with optional SCSI RAID card and a dual-LAN architecture supporting both 1Gbps and 10/100Mbps speeds, the AP1700 provides maximum information security, storage efficiency and application flexibility.
