The OmniAccess 512 is the industry's first integrated LAN switching/WAN routing device offering multi-service access to the enterprise backbone. Designed specifically to connect branch offices to corporate data centers, it combines LAN switching, WAN routing, voice over IP (VoIP), security and Service Level Management in a single platform - an ideal solution for the next generation branch office! OmniAccess offers a migration path for branch network upgrades. 12 auto sense 10/100 Ethernet ports let you upgrade your desktops to Fast Ethernet without upgrading your switch. When you migrate to VoIP, add the VoIP module to the expansion slot. OmniAccess allows you to standardize your branch access switches throughout the enterprise. OmniAccess offers a variety of uplinks (frame relay, PPP, MPPP, T1/E1, FT1, and ISDN BRI) that enable you to connect lower bandwidth branches over frame relay, for example, and higher bandwidth branches over T1/FT1. Simplified management and security - that's what you get when you deploy OmniAccess 512.
