The OmniAccess 625 router is ideal for corporate core or branch office edge solutions. The performance, functionality, and high density design of this router make it an ideal choice for applications such as dedicated internet access and corporate WAN connectivity. In addition, it offers advanced functionality enabling it to be deployed in fully redundant configurations with no single point of failure, as secure firewalls, or as converged voice and data access devices. Alcatel's OmniAccess 625 also is a powerful modular service platform that supports 56 KB to wirespeed DS3 bandwidths, converged routing, security, and multimedia traffic to remote branches of small to medium enterprises (SME). Based on Alcatel's simple-to-scale architecture, the OmniAccess 625 provides consistent high-speed throughput, even with advanced services enabled. Alcatel's signature, scalable design uses a 2-slot chassis that allows the OmniAccess 625 to accept a variety of media modules.
