The AT-8700XL Advanced Fast Ethernet Switch series is a Layer 2 - Layer 4 desktop multimedia switch that brings a high level of security and traffic control to the edge of your network. With IP routing capabilities for investment protection and flexible management tools, the AT-8700XL series is designed to enable voice and video applications in the data network infrastructure. Specially designed for high-performance desktop edge connectivity, workgroup, mid-sized networks, campus and metro access edge, the AT-8700XL family provides Layer 4 functionality to support multimedia and real time services like voice, video, videogame applications or utilities-infrastructure real time monitoring that are becoming more and more integrated into data networks.
