The AT-AR800 series modular switching routers provide a cost-effective, multi-service router platform for large branch office and corporate locations demanding high data throughput, upgradeable connectivity and support for multiple WAN services. The AT-AR800 series internetworks seamlessly with Allied Telesis'' comprehensive family of fixed function and modular routers and shares the same AlliedWare operating system. Industry standards-based implementation assures full interoperability with all major router vendors. The AT-AR800 series is shipped with a full implementation of AlliedWare, a full set of operating system software with advanced features for security, management and internetworking. Utilizing high-performance ASIC and RISC-based technology, the AT-AR800 series is an excellent choice where high bandwidth and quick response applications are required. Supporting wire-speed Layer 2 and Layer 3 IP switching on 24 fixed 10/100 Mbps twisted pair ports or 16 fixed 100 Mbps fiber ports, the AT-AR800 series can handle the most data-intensive business applications.
