The Allied Telesis' AT-MCF106 is a manageable media converter, housed in a single slim, 19" rackmountable unit. This media converter allows inter-connectivity of Fast Ethernet networks at distances of up to 40km. The AT-MCF106 media converter can be installed as unmanaged devices, making it extremely cost-effective. All ports support the Allied Telesis' 'Missing Link' feature, which allows the media converters to truly propagate Fast Ethernet 'Link' signals. For added security, all the media converters support an optional redundant internal power supply and both power supplies can be "hot" inserted and removed, enabling zero down-time during maintenance.
