Allied Telesis'' AT-WRPCI 802.11b wireless PCI adapter allows Allied Telesis'' popular AT-WR2411 wireless radio card to be used in standard PCs and workstations containing a PCI bus. When used with the Allied Telesis' AT-WL2411wireless access point, a radio-equipped PC or workstation can be deployed anywhere in the network coverage area without the limitations of a wired network infrastructure. Designed to connect directly to the PC or workstation's PCI bus, the AT-WRPCI can be installed in any available PCI slot. The AT-WR2411 wireless card is first installed into the AT-WRPCI adapter and then the combination is installed into a free PCI slot.
