The SmartCool Plus can be used as a temperature-controlled intake fan to maximize quietness and maximize cooling, as appropriate. Simply install the fan, attach the thermal detector in the area of concern with the provided thermal tape, and plug in the power. 80mm SmartCool Plus is a thermally controlled case fan with remote temperature sensor. Put SmartCool Plus in your case's front fan mount and put the thermal detector near your AGP card, by your CPU, at the top of the case where heat builds up, or anywhere you are concerned may be overheating. SmartCool Plus will increase or decrease its speed as needed, maximizing both cooling and quiet. Put SmartCool Plus in your removable hard drive cage fan mount and attach the thermal detector to your hard drive casing.
