To protect your wired and wireless networks from unauthorized access, the FriendlyNET router supports advanced security standards: packet-filtering firewall, Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), 256-bit WEP encryption, stealth SSID and 802.1X RADIUS authentication. For an extra measure of protection, the router can also limit access to only registered computers using hardware-based (MAC) security - the same technology used on Asanté's high-end IntraCore switches for universities and enterprise networks.
