Avocent DSR 1021, 8-port KVM over IP switch is designed for IT administrators who need to easily troubleshoot, reboot or even power cycle servers or serial devices in branch offices. The DSR1021 switch includes external modem support, so IT administrators can manage remote devices if the network is down. Combined with DSView 3 software, SNMP and IPMI support, and a Web interface, the DSR1021 switch provides on-screen, BIOS-level control of your branch offices' servers, routers and DSUs. Hub and spoke failover capability allows users to authenticate when a primary server is unavailable.
