From the leader in network video, the AXIS 211 is a professional-level network camera, suitable for indoor and outdoor security surveillance and remote monitoring applications. Backed by the industry's largest software application base, it is an ideal choice for securing offices, shops and other facilities over the local area network or across the Internet. Connecting directly to IP networks via Ethernet, the built-in Web server, open application interface and sophisticated networking functions based on industry standards greatly simplify installation and systems integration. This network camera is ideal for video viewing, recording and management. Designed to provide the best image quality in its class, AXIS 211 uses a progressive scan CCD sensor and powerful real-time image processing hardware to guarantee full frame rate, even at VGA resolution. Furthermore, its unique combination of simultaneous Motion JPEG and advanced MPEG-4 streams allows systems to be optimized for image quality and bandwidth-efficiency. More functions include video scaling, video motion detection, pre and post alarm buffers, notification, privacy masking and support for external I/O, such as sensors and relays.
