With PhotoRecord, for example, you can easily make high quality prints, enlargements, or additional copies of your favorite photos. Also, why not try your hand at creating electronic photo albums? By using the D1230U in combination of ArcSoft PhotoBase, you can scan up to three frames of 35 mm film at a time, manage all the images in the software, and then record selected images onto CD-R or CD-RW - a practical, space-saving way to keep track of your photos. Thanks to its innovative technology, the CanoScan D1230U provides both exceptional image quality and fast operation. Canon's sophisticated optical system - featuring the Galileo lens - boosts the scanner's true 1200 dpi CCD sensor by reducing chromatic aberration while at the same time maximizing the use of the light source. This system enables the D1230U to produce images with greater detail, higher color fidelity, and less noise than those made with conventional flatbed scanners.
