The DIGITAL TL891 automated tape mini-library provides a low-cost, high-performance, reliable entry-level automated mass storage for departmental data management applications. It uses high-performance TZ89 tape drives for unsurpassed data integrity and high capacity (up to 35 GB uncompressed per cartridge). The fully automated TL891 storage mini-library also includes robotic hardware and firmware, DIGITAL Media Robot Utility (MRU) software, barcode reader, barcode labels, cleaning cartridge and one DLTtape IV data cartridge. The OpenVMS Storage Management Software product suite is included with the MRU software. This product is ideal for data applications for DIGITAL systems, platforms, clusters, and networks.
