The Compaq StorageWorks TL891DLX is a Mainstream Tape Library with one or two 40/80 GB DLT drives and 10 cartridges, offering 400 GB (native) of storage in a 4U-table top or rack configuration. This library is modular and can scale up to six modules for a total capacity of 7.20 TB in a 24U space. The Compaq StorageWorks TL891DLX offers an enhanced backup speed of 6 MB/s (native) for each drive, providing a 12 MB/s (native) for a single module with two drives. In a multi-unit configuration the backup speed can be scaled up to 43.2 GB/hour.
