Compaq NetFlex-2 delivers exceptional performance using Packet Blaster technology to speed throughput. The controller supports both Ethernet and Token Ring-Ethernet as is, and Token Ring environments by adding the inexpensive DualSpeed Token Ring Module. NetFlex-2 is Full Duplex Ethernet on 10BaseT wiring, allowing two-way transmission between nodes for a maximum 20 Mb/s aggregate bandwidth.
