Altiris eXpress is a total PC Management solution that builds upon RapiDeploy's innovative PC deployment features, LabExpert's patented remote-boot technology, and RapidInstall's industry-touted PC change management tools. In addition, it adds powerful new Wired for Management and PXE services, task scheduling and a simplified drag-and-drop GUI that brings it all together into a powerful PC Management suite that's as easy to use as a drinking fountain. Altiris eXpress is fully enabled for Intel Wired for Management (WfM) with such timesaving features as Wake on LAN and Pre-boot eXecution Environment (PXE). The Wake on LAN functionality is built into eXpress and will automatically "wake up" a PC that is turned off. Altiris eXpress is so easy to use that no special training or certification is required to take full advantage of its timesaving, money-saving features. Powerful, advanced features and shortcuts are available, but these won't get in the way of novice users. Problem Management Suite includes Helpdesk Solution and Conflict Analysis. Designed for the problem resolution of Windows clients throughout their lifecycle, this suite targets organizations wanting an "access from anywhere, " easy-to-use, Web-based, problem resolution solution that improves service levels and reduces help desk call volume. A Web-based self-help interface and wireless handheld interface enables end users to report and track incidents as well as perform self-support operations, such as resetting user account passwords.
