The D-Link DES-3225G is a high performance rackmountable 22+2-port Ethernet/Fast Ethernet NWAY auto-sensing Switch with SNMP/RMON management. It is designed to eliminate unnecessary traffic, and relieve congestion on critical network paths. The DES-3225G is targeted at workgroup, departmental or backbone computing environments at medium to large businesses. The DES-3225G delivers high-speed 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet switching and maximum flexibility by providing dynamic auto-sensing capability for 10Mb Ethernet segments and workstations. Each port can connect Fast Ethernet or Ethernet segments into any available port. NWAY auto-negotiation automatically identifies and determines the correct transmission speed and duplex mode of the attached device on each port. The DES-3225G provides dynamic buffer allocation that employs network-load balancing for faster data handling. It has two MDI/MDIX uplink interface connections that enable easy expansion. The DES-3225G uses fast store and forward architecture to ensure low latency and high data integrity.
