The D-Link DFE-2624 is a stackable Dual Speed 24-port Ethernet/Fast Ethernet hub. It is targeted at larger workgroup environments that need a flexible and an economical migration path to higher bandwidths. The DFE-2624ix can provide both switching and management to the stack. The D-Link DFE-2624 provides each of the 24 ports with complete dynamic NWAY auto-sensing between 10Mb and 100Mb. The DFE-2624 combines the functions of a Fast Ethernet hub, Ethernet hub and a 10/100Mb switch in a single physical unit. The DFE-2624 allows users to connect Ethernet or Fast Ethernet nodes into any available port. Migration from Ethernet to Fast Ethernet requires no installation of new hubs, no re-connection hub ports and no change of wiring.
