The D-Link DFE-680TXD is a 32-bit Cardbus 10/100Mbps Ethernet adapter with built-in connectors engineered for notebook and laptop computers. The DFE-680TXD provides mobile users with a quick and easy connection to the local network. The DFE-680TXD is targeted at users of notebook or laptop computers with Cardbus controllers. The DFE-680TXD is a high-performance dual-speed Cardbus adapter designed to allow mobile users to easily access databases and resources available on a local network. The DFE-680TXD utilizes NWay auto-negotiation to automatically connect to any standard compliant switch or hub at 10Mpbs or 100Mpbs in either half or full duplex mode. The DFE-680TXD dual-speed 10/100Mbps feature adheres to IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u standard, which specify existing 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet technology.
