D-Link's DFL-700 is an easy-to deploy firewall designed for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), workgroups, and departments that require superior price/performance. This device is a powerful security solution that provides integrated Network Address Translation (NAT), Firewall, Content Filtering, IDS protection, bandwidth management as well as Virtual Private Network (VPN) support. The DFL-700 includes a WAN link support, a trusted LAN port, and a DMZ port to support local e-mail and web servers, and is compact enough to fit anywhere. With an intuitive web-based interface and simple process, the DFL-700 provides users with easy installation. This firewall comes with DS-605 Network Security VPN Client. The D-Link VPN Client Software is a versatile, secure and economical IPSec client. It is designed for Virtual Private Network (VPN) products and terminates against IPSec gateways, such as the D-Link VPN routers and NetDefend firewalls. The connection can be established over a wired or wireless network, the public Internet or a private network. This software supports all IPSec standards set in the RFCs. The product meets the highest security requirements. Support of certificates provides strong user authentication in a PKI. An integrated personal firewall shields against attacks from the Internet. The latest encryption algorithms protect sensitive data in transit. With the D-Link VPN Client, your mobile users have a simple, easy-to-use solution for securely accessing the corporate network. The VPN Client software provides mobile users with secure, reliable access to corporate resources through broadband, wireless and dial-up connections. The D-Link VPN Client uses innovative technology to deliver tighter integration for greater ease of use and manageability. VPN Client provides cost-effective, secure access for mobile users from any location, using any Internet connection, over any IP network environment. The D-Link VPN Client uses standard IPSec implementation with advanced 3DES/AES encryption and comprehensive Windows support. This software provides NAT transparency capability to work with most home gateways and NAT routers.
