The DP-G310 wireless print server provides a high-speed USB 2.0 printer port for connection to a USB-supported printer. Equipped with a 10/100BASE Ethernet and high-speed 802.11g (802.11b) wireless LAN interface, this device lets you conveniently share your printer with a group of home or office users. The DP-G310 provides the necessary security for wireless users, using the user-selectable 64/128-bit industry-standard WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) encryption protocol. Data privacy mechanism is based on a shared key algorithm, as described in the wireless LAN standard. The DP-G310 supports many network OS, including Windows, Apple MacOS, Linux, Solaris, SCO Unix and NetWare 5.x native NDS. This gives you the flexibility to install the print server, regardless of your network environment. Setting up the print server is easy with a Windows-based menu-driven program, which guides you through all the necessary steps to set up and configure your network printer.
