Proactive Client Backup ensures that no computers get starved from being backed up, even if the time required to do the backups exceeds the time allotted to do the backups. This is especially important when client machines such as desktops and notebooks are being backed up. Proactive Client Backup keeps track of which machines it has backed up, so it can resume backups efficiently during the next scheduled backup session, and adjusts priorities based on defined objectives to ensure no computers get starved from being backed up. Notebooks are automatically detected and backed up when they are connected to the network.
