The Eicon 1530 WAN Router stands out as an easy to use, affordable WAN Router. Furthermore, it is an intelligent multi-protocol router connecting IP base Ethernet LANs to central high-end routers using leased-line PPP, or to WANs using X.25 connections. Typical markets for the Eicon 1530 WAN Router include ISPs, Systems Integrators, VARs and specific Eicon solution providers. With over 600,000 Eicon cards sold, Eicon Networks has proven to be a leader in WAN Connectivity, typically X.25. This same reliability is now offered in the Eicon 1530 WAN Router. The Eicon 1530 WAN Router features a single Ethernet 10BaseT port that can be connected to an Ethernet Hub on an IP network. The VHSI port can be configured for either leased line PPP, or X.25 connectivity.
