The introduction of the EN-8700 drive module is revolutionary. You finally have the ability to intelligently and inexpensively create a combined Server/Raid solution in one chassis, It employs SCA Ultra 2 technology and supports hot swap functionality. Replace the hard drives without shutting the system down. Not only are the hard drives "hot swappable" but the back of the module has room for snap-on, screwless 92mm fan. The built-in back plane is not only the key behind the hot swappability, but also allows for two power connectors to power up to five hard drives.
