Economical and versatile, the Nokia IP330 is ideal for small organizations that rely on Internet access and a secure network to do business. Leveraging the performance and flexibility of Nokia IP Network Security Platforms, the IP330 is a low-cost, simple-to-deploy security platform. Its small size - just one rack unit - makes it ideal for installations that need to conserve space in the equipment room while delivering robust performance and connectivity. As a network device, the Nokia IP330 supports a comprehensive suite of IP-routing functions and protocols, including RIPv1/RIPv2, IGRP, OSPF, RIPng and BGP4 for unicast traffic, and PIM-DM, PIM-SM and DVMRP for multicast traffic. The integrated router functionality eliminates the need for separate Intranet and access routers in security applications. The IP330 includes the remote-management features of Nokia Voyager as well as working with Nokia Horizon Manager, making it highly effective for small enterprise and branch office installations. Remote sites no longer require network management personnel to be on site for appliance installation, upgrades and configuration. What previously required a costly set of stand-alone devices from multiple vendors can now be achieved through reliable, low-cost devices from Nokia. Everything required to access the Internet and protect your private network is pre-installed and tested at the factory.
