The EPSON Color Proofer 10000 combines the printing capabilities of the EPSON Stylus Pro 10000 with dedicated software PostScript RIP - the EPSON StylusRIP Designer XL. Stylus RIP Designer XL is a software-based true Adobe PostScript 3 interpreter for the Stylus Pro 10000/10000CF, designed to run on a Macintosh server platform and utilizing the EFI Fiery ColorWise color management engine. Employing a massive 180 nozzles per color, these printers are built for phenomenal speed, and can output at 20m2/hr, yet can also print a tiny 5-picoliter dot for subtle tonal variations, and thanks to Variable Sized Droplet Technology, automatically increase the size of the dot to maximize print speeds, in areas of solid color. To ensure maximum throughput at all stages of the print workflow, the Color Proofer 10000 series also feature EPSON's Auto Print Head Optimization System (APHOS) that utilizes the latest laser enhanced auto-detection technology to automatically detect any blocked nozzles prior to printing each page, ensuring the Micro Piezo print head works at maximum efficiency for every print. A RIP accelerator card is provided with the StylusRIP Designer XL.
