DAT is the most cost efficient way to back-up 8 GB on tape. DAT is a fast way to back up small volumes and the most reliable and fastest back-up solution for single computers and small networks. DAT has the lowest cost of ownership of any tape format. The Freecom DAT 8 can store up to 8 GB per tape, which is usually suitable for smaller networks.
