The 60 Hz Adapter is the ultimate solution to bringing your old monitors alive when connecting them to Power Macs and other new models. The kit was designed to allow existing 60 Hz monitors such as the popular Sony GDM-1952 to be used with your Apple computer. This innovative adapter includes a special cable and software to easily allow you to connect these displays. The adapter kit configures the proper sense codes to tell the computer what type monitor is attached and to communicate the monitor resolution to the computer's video card. Additionally proprietary software allows one to "cycle" through resolutions with the built in video much like expensive third party video cards.
