The XPS 5.101 Black is a 5.1 kit designed to envelop home theater enthusiasts in 360 degrees of lifelike surround sound. The perfect companion for users' computer, DVD player, game console or TV set, the Hercules XPS Black family enhances music, games and DVDs with outstanding audio sensitivity and brings them to life. The satellite speakers are equipped with phase plug drivers, which improve: sound distribution, voice range clarity, and dynamic range. A solid wood subwoofer for deep, rumbling bass perfectly complements the satellites' pristine treble and medium frequency playback. The subwoofer driver is protected by a metal grid and bass reproduction is enhanced via a long, large bass-reflex tube. XPS Black series speaker kits come with a versatile infrared metal remote control and docking station. The remote control allows users to adjust volume and bass levels, and includes Mute and On/Off buttons. The remote control docking station includes 4 useful features: an infrared receiver, a stereo headphone plug, an additional stereo input, and a cradle for the remote control. The XPS Black satellites' design combines eye-catching aesthetics, user-friendliness and unrivalled audio quality. Easy on the eyes: the satellites' compact size makes them easy to integrate into any room, while their sleek black finish matches both computer and living room equipment. The speakers' egg-shaped front plate fits in with the spherical shape of the enclosure and hides the foldable base.
