This card allows for simple, robust security, extendable beyond the HP OmniBook PC. HP International Encryption Smart Card provides file encryption on local hard drive for Windows 95 and Windows NT as well as strong security of user login for Windows NT 4.0. This World-class 40-bit encryption technology set features the following included hardware: one GemPlus encryption smart card, PCMCIA smart card reader.
