HighPoint's RocketMate 1100 is an external hard disk drive enclosure designed to work in conjunction with e.SATA capable RocketRAID host adapters. The RocketMate 1100 is compatible with RAID and non-RAID disk configurations, and supports Hot-Swap. With the RocketMate 1100, users can safely hot-swap a failed hard disk drive with a fresh hard disk, then recover and rebuild the damaged RAID array - all without powering down the computer, or interrupting the computer's operations. The RocketMate 1100 can be utilized as a stand-alone removable device bay for use with IDE hard disk drives - a simple and effective tool for any users' removable storage needs.
