This new addition to IBM's family of Ethernet adapters replaces the Netfinity Fault Tolerant Adapter. This new adapter offers dissimilar fail over capability, which enables fail over to different LOM technologies. It also offers resilient server links, which allow for redundant connections from the server to the network infrastructure, thereby guaranteeing continuous network connectivity. Self-healing drivers provide automatic recovery without making you reboot your system. The 10/100 EtherLink Server Adapter provides optimized device drivers and advanced networking features for use on server products.
