This 2Gbps, hot-swappable, Fiber Channel (FC) Disk Drive option helps double the storage capacity of FAStT storage servers to deliver configurations greater than 32TB. This drive, when used with the fully configured, 14-bay, FAStT EXP700 Storage Expansion Unit, can deliver a 2Gbps FC solution supporting more than 2TB of high-performance storage in 3U of rack space. The FAStT700 Storage Server, configured with 16 FAStT EXP700s using this drive module, provides a full end-to-end 2Gbps FC storage solution of more than 32.8TB.
