This tape backup option is a compact, high-density storage device that provides excellent storage capacity for entry to midrange server applications. Its 5.25-inch, half-high form factor enables economical internal installation into many IBM eServer xSeries servers. It can store up to 40GB of data in native mode and up to 80GB compressed*. * Tape drives that use data compression technology have storage capacity that will vary depending upon whether the drive is operating in native mode ( without compression) or compressed mode.
