Juniper Networks Odyssey Access Client FIPS Edition is a specialized edition of Odyssey Access Client, secure, low-overhead 802.1X supplicant that for the first time allows government agencies to deploy secure, scalable wireless LAN access based on the open 802.1X and 802.11i security standards. OAC FE incorporates the Odyssey Security Component, a cryptographic module that has been FIPS 140-2 Level 1 Validated by NIST and the Canada Communications Security Establishment. OAC FE conforms to FIPS guidelines, using EAP-TLS authentication, 802.11i (WPA2) key derivation, and AES-CCMP data encryption. OAC FE also supports the xSec protocol.
