The Data Stacker DS60 is a single or dual-bay stand-alone stackable enclosure for housing 3.5 inch half-height or low-profile SCSI devices. The DS60 is constructed of a poly/steel combination and is designed for reliable, low-cost and high-capacity storage systems where flexibility is a consideration. The Data Stacker DS60 is designed with a convenient, removable, patented device wiring bracket which allows for easy assembly and outside-of-chassis drive wiring. The DS60 also provides front-accessed control of the SCSI ID and fan speed selections. The dual speed fan adjusts from a "low" speed (14 CFM maximum), suggested for removable media devices or drives with less than 4GB capacities, to a "high" speed (17 CFM maximum), which is suitable for all drive capacities and recommended for drives exceeding 4GB. The DS60 comes equipped with an energy efficient, auto-ranging, enhanced 40 watt (single-bay version), or 65 watt (dual-bay versions) power supply. These values represent the continuous, "rated" wattages for DS60 power supplies. (Maximum, peak wattages for the 40 watt power supply is 65 watts; peak wattage for the 65 watt power supply is 80 watts. Power supplies are capable of providing peak wattages during spin-up of high performance drives.).
