Especially in professional environments with its huge data volume, it's often cheaper to rent a dedicated leased line from your telecommunications provider, rather than to pay for each dial-up connection separately. Therefore, all LANCOMs with an ISDN interface can be upgraded for operation with leased lines. The leased line option enables leased line connections at either 64 kbps or 128 kbps connections (in Germany: "D64S" and "D64S2").
