MSI NX8600GTS Series includes various state-of-the-art technologies such as the NVIDIA Lumenex Engine, which delivers stunning image quality and floating point accuracy at ultra-fast frame rates; Microsoft DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0 for great gaming experiences, and OpenGL 2.0 to ensure top-notch compatibility and performance for all OpenGL 2.0 applications. MSI NX8600GTS Series also has support for 128-bit floating point texture filtering for high dynamic-range (HDR) lighting effects. It also now comes with support for anti-aliasing. It can light objects close to the way human eyes catch color in the real world. While the NVIDIA IntellisampleT 4.0 technology provides outstanding visual quality through gamma correct rotated grid anti-aliasing and advanced anisotropic filtering, its support for normal map compression enables more lifelike characters and environments. In addition, MSI NX8600GTS includes NVIDIA PureVideo technology and Hardware Decode Acceleration, providing ultra-smooth playback of H.264, VC-1, WMV, MPEG-2 HD and SD movies. Blazing-fast RAMDACs support dual QXGA displays with ultra-high refresh rates-up to 2048x1536@85Hz, and 3:2 pull-down correction for watching DVD movies.
