The Contivity 2500 Extranet Switch is a complete VPN solution that provides a high performance, scalable and secure infrastructure. It supports the industry-standard, full-function Routing Internet Protocol (RIP) routing protocol and integrates the industry-leading Fire Wall-1 from Check Point Software Technologies. This gives users all the essentials of VPNs: routing, tunneling, encryption, data compression, security and bandwidth management. With these capabilities, the Contivity 2500 Extranet Switch can be used to both build VPNs and meet general network access requirements without compromising either environment.
