DirXML is a solution that enables enterprise management of data with the goal of dramatically reducing the costs of managing all these different databases and directories. XML (Extensible Markup Language) is extremely flexible and provides a means for representing data that can be passed between different applications. DirXML is the technology that translates information into XML, then will transfer that information into the separate directories/databases that a corporation has. In order to do this though, a driver must be created that will allow the DirXML Engine to communicate with the directory. The DirXML Driver for Active Directory is an "application shim" that provides synchronization capabilities between Microsoft Active Directory lists and Novell eDirectory users and groups. The driver polls Active Directory for changes and any changes detected are transported to eDirectory. CORPORATE LICENSE AGREEMENT The CLA is ideal for customers who have a higher level of commitment to Novell, and hence receive more benefits. It also preserves the existing relationships between customers and their preferred resellers, offering a strong relationship with both Novell and highly qualified reseller partners.
