The Gigaset H498data is a PC card for notebooks and for the SIMpad SL4 with a standard PC card slot. Together with the Gigaset H4900data and a DSL or cable modem the Gigaset H498data enables up to 8 notebooks to wirelessly access the Internet simultaneously at high-speed using just a single Internet connection. In addition the Gigaset H498data allows accessing the data of other PCs or notebooks in the wireless network (e.g. file sharing) or sharing external computer devices such as printer or scanner.
