I-GATE opens up new dimensions in PC office environments with multiple workstations: healthcare facilities, law practices, offices, administrations, workshops, travel agencies as well as home users. I-GATE allows connecting at least ten PCs and/or notebooks with one another without wiring. I-GATE's data transmission rate is 2 Mbps. What's more, an ISDN connection provides all network users with simultaneous Internet access without tying up phone or fax lines. I-GATE is very simple. In essence, your wireless PC network consists of only two components, AccessPoint and MobilePort. Connected to the ISDN port, the AccessPoint is the interface to the outside world and automatically coordinates Internet access (routing). The Mobile-Port is the interface to your PC or notebook. Not only does it send and receive data, it also serves as a terminal within the wireless network. I-GATE makes it possible to operate several networks in parallel.
